Important Deadlines

The following are important deadlines for Psychology graduate students. Students should also see the MTSU Academic Calendar for other important dates.

Spring 2025 Schedule*

Jan. 21	Classes Begin (Tuesday after MLK, Jr. Day)
Feb. 11	Intent to Graduate Deadline for Spring Graduation
Mar 10-15	Spring Break (no classes)
Apr. 7-18	Priority Registration for Summer and Fall 2025
Apr. 18	Spring Theses/ Dissertations Due. Those submitted after this date will not be eligible for Spring 2025 graduation.
Apr. 30	Last Day of Classes
May 2-8	Final Exams as Determined by University Approved Exam Schedule
May 10	Commencement (Days and Times TBD, may hold additional ceremonies on May 9)

Fall 2025 Schedule*

Apr 7-18	Priority Registration for Summer and Fall 2025
Aug 25	Classes Begin
Sept 8	Last day for graduate students to file intent to graduate forms for Fall 2025 graduation
Oct 11-14	Fall Break (no classes)
Nov 3-14	Spring 2026 Priority Registration
Nov 18	Fall 2025 thesis/dissertation deadline for College of Graduate Studies
Dec 3	Last Day of Classes
Dec 5-11	Final Exams as Determined by University Approved Exam Schedule
Dec 11	Last Day of Classes
Dec 13	Commencement (Days and Times TBD), Official Fall Graduation Date
